  • Encourage our Scouts to reach the rank of Eagle when ready
  • Prepare the Scouts for the challenges of life
  • Develop leadership skills
  • Instill a desire to serve their community

Interested in becoming a Troop 606 Boy Scout?

  • Boys age 11 (5th grade) to 18 (12th grade) are welcome to join. Best time to join our Troop is in December through February.
  • Boy Scouting is not for everyone. A substantial time commitment is needed for success.
  • Success in Boy Scouts requires the Scout’s personal commitment, dedication, and self-motivation.
  • The boys themselves provide the Troop leadership. Parent Scouters provide guidance and mentoring.
  • Parent support is essential. Chances of success in scouting are substantially diminished when parents aren’t involved.
  • If you’d like to know more about Troop 606, read the materials contained in our General Information section of the website.
